Reply to Muck boots are amazing. by ExtraordinaryMagic
Had my first pair for 2 or 3 seasons. Bought a new pair last October, they leaked within a month. Muck warrantied them but 3 months later the new pair has a small leak. I do on average 5k steps a day to their credit, but for $160, I think I’ll try something else out next season. Anyone try the xtratuff equivalents?

That grimy feeling might be some sort of build up from fabric softener if you use that in your weekly washes. The build up is like a waxy substance that might speed up discoloration and also prevent the fabric from breathing. Once I’ve stopped using that my clothes and sheets and towels seem to last longer.

Perfect, it's what I've been using in my 75cl glass press and it seems to be following the standard dimensions of most of the filters I can find on Amazon.
Thank you for responding and have a nice day!

You may want to read up on how gas stoves impact indoor air quality. Those pretty visible flames are by definition incomplete combustion, meaning volatile chemicals are being emitted from incompletely burned fossil methane. If you are worried about toxins in your environment, fossil fuels are a questionable choice.

I have a Whirlpool gas stove and I like it. One of the main things I like is that there are five burners, and only one big grate across all of them. It means I can move pots and pans around without worrying about tipping them or finding a space for them.
The main downfall is that cleaning it is a bitch. No matter how often I wipe it down, it always seems to have a layer of grease on some part or another, because there is so much to clean, between the grate and the surface underneath, and even on the little burners themselves. I used to have a glass surface electric stove, and it was a breeze to clean up, I just didn't care for it with all my cast iron.

It's what people cry out when they capture social disorder for the ages yet to come, "I got it on film/tape" (most likely some sort of SD card digital media).

Yeah I mentioned that in the comment, they source their leather stuff from Weaver and you'd contact Weaver for issues.

People will recommend Polywood. I’ll tell you what I did - made a live edge slab bartop table and surrounded it with Emeco barstools. Love it 100%.

Always boggles my mind when people come to these posts and say stuff like "these boots won't last a lifetime". I don't think there is a single boot made today that will last a literal lifetime, full stop.
Muck boots are fantastic boots. The biggest downside being that there is very little you can do to repair once they are worn enough. It's full on replacement. That said, they are fantastic boots overall.

It looks like a good collar, but I checked out their website at this specific item. it states - Leather colors may vary. All leather items are made by Weaver Leather. This is not a LupinePet brand item and therefore, is NOT covered by the LupinePet Guarantee. So this collar does not have the lifetime warranty

Polywood makes really good stuff. Cast aluminum is another material that's great if it's always going to be exposed to weather.
We have a covered patio with Yardbird outdoor chairs and a couch and really like them. But with cushions I don't think I'd keep them in the elements.

Bought one for my son about a year ago, and it's very nice. Sturdy enough to sling a hammock under for a nap. Can't say how long it will last because we haven't had it long, but it certainly seems to be built well.

Healthy Human. Wife got me one and 4 years later I ran it over with the tractor. 32 oz replacement I bought is now 5 years old. Also have some generic non insulated stainless bottles that’ve got to be 12 years in. Many miles on all of them

I’m disappointed by my new (first) pair. I have a large foot and am pretty thin but the boots seem to have been made for a person with a large foot and Sasquatch legs. Other than that they would be great.

Same. Comfortable but they don’t seem to last. Lacrosse hold up 2 seasons for me but they’re not quite as comfortable as the Mucks.
