I shave fast in planet fitness showers with a 4”x4” travel mirror, and I haven’t knicked myself. I’ve even gotten bold lately and I kindof go cross grain under a fairly prominent jawline and it still has gone smoothly. It has made it so easy it’s basically fun now. It’s about sticking with the angle they have set the face of the tool to. There is a flat side that the blade comes out of, plant that flat side flush and it shaves probably as perfect as realistically possible. If you’re familiar with wood planers and their broad flat undersides, it works the same exact way. Their product videos explain it too.

Any time I find hangers like those at yard sales and thrift stores, I get them. I hang almost everything I own on them!

This is my recommendation, too. I have two pairs of Smartwool socks that are still holding up after 14 years (and a few pairs from 2019), but also I only wear socks in the winter so YMMV

I have not had the same experience as seemingly everyone else here. I bought one a few years ago and after a while the nib began getting caught in the opening of the body, meaning I couldn't retract the nib without manually pushing it back. I contacted Parker and they were kind enough to send me a new one, however the same issue plagued the new one as well.

I am impressed that you were able to keep a pen for this long!!! Am I the only one here that loses their pen on a daily basis? 😂

Add a small flashlight and a walkie talkie and that's my checklist.

This was going to be my question? How many hours a day are you walking around your house in your socks? You need to find a pair of slippers or comfy house shoes.

Timberlands are indeed shoes that typically last a decade. I have several and have to go so far back in time that I don't know anymore when exactly I bought time. Earthkeepers. Really are Earthkeepers.

Fountain pens write totally different. Honestly, the best advice is to just order a few different pens. Go on a stationary site, order a few different kinds of cheap pens, see what you like. Then buy a nice version of whatever style you liked most (gel/ink, rollerball, needle tip, fountain pen etc).
Fountain pens write totally differently though. You might have to relearn how to write. Honestly, I've no idea - a fountain pen might be easier or more difficult for you to write with regarding your disability. I'd check out some YouTube videos of people writing with them to get an idea of it first before buying one, they cost a lot more than normal pens.
