It’s also a much nicer shave if you do it right.

So much love for the click action here, but no love for the pocket clip. I love my jotter and have carried it every day to work for the last 6 years. The clip is solid and is the reason it hasn’t been lost yet.

Just gonna weigh on the "buy induction because it is better" argument. Yes, it's true, it's also not an option in a lot of US homes built in the mid 20th century with gas appliances unless you can afford to have an electrician run a 220v circuit to the kitchen, and possibly upgrade your electrical service too.
If you're remodeling your kitchen you should 100% go induction (or mixed fuel if you really need gas for certain things). If you have to stick with gas, any modern range/oven with electronic ignition is probably fine. If you go with a less expensive model you can put the money you save towards an Alen 75i air filter to take care of the particulates created by burning gas.
Or you can just put a box fan in the window blowing out, which is what I will continue to do until I get around to remodeling the kitchen. (On days when the Clairton Coke Works is trying to suffocate the city it's better to keep the windows closed and enjoy those sweet, sweet natural gas fumes.)

Do you still get them free when you buy a suit or coat?
Casingda t1_jec3zrf wrote
That’s why I’d recommend the desktop model. I think you may need to look for a vintage one for that, though.

Not the US army I assume

I have my grandfather’s GE radio alarm clock. It has red glowing numbers on the front. It still works fine, and I’ve had it since the 90s. I don’t even know how long he had it before I did! They make great older stuff for sure! It even had an ant colony move in one year! Not a fond memory!

Do you always lose sound in the right ear of all your earbuds? Cause if so I think we might be the same person.

I just don’t want a permanent installation that’s going to be largely useless after my kid is old enough to use mechanical pencils.

Wow, are we the same person?
I've kept pens for years and I can't remember losing a pair of sunglasses (then again, I have rx sunglasses, so perhaps my mindset is a little bit different than most people).
But damn if I'm not hard on headphones. I finally learned to get ones with a really good warranty and/or replaceable cables because I am annoyingly good at breaking them.

I bought a GE Café range late last year. The oven controller was faulty, and it took them three tries before I raised hell and they replaced it (no Christmas cookies, and we had to have our traditional holiday dinner catered). Then the new one had some packaging tape on the oven blower that flapped and made noise, so I had to pull the oven half apart to fix it. Not recommended.

To my knowledge they’re only running one model. Slightly newer/updated than mine, The AL13. It’s an everyday shaver, more comfortable than any I’ve had.

I’d try to find the older type, that can hang from a wall or sit on a desk. They are still the best. I have a couple of them and I love them. They are the Boston brand. You can also buy newer ones, but I’d check the ratings on those. They are so much better than small, hand held pencil sharpeners.
