Depending on where you're at in the northeast find an Amish community that does poly furniture. http://www.lancasterpolypatios.com/ for reference

You could be right. Could possibly be 50s? Who would have thought we’d be discussing coat hangers at 03.40.

I have some similar from my grandfather, he worked at a tailor in the late 40's.

Reply to I live in Sweden. I’m tired of my happy socks being unhappy all the time after only wearing them 3 months or so. Anyone recommend some durable socks for normal activity day to day use? (available in EU) by P0llydog
I’d you can get darn tough, get ‘em. Been using mine for years now as socks and slippers. Built like tanks

Within a few days of getting my yellow VP it opened in my pocket, fell out of my pocket while getting out of my car, and landed nib first on the street which just trashed the nib. My wallet was hurting that week.

Got the lansing. At the time there was a sale that brought it down to $850 so it was cheaper than just the base! I do plan to commission a custom top, but I haven't gotten around to it, so I'm still using the powder coat eco top.

Thanks. I imagine these are from the 60’s or 70’s.

I fully support the secondhand / picker acquisition methods, but would suggest taking it directly to a rug cleaner. Rich people get bugs too.

This group is about high quality items worth the price.
I can see how a work bench like that might be useful, but I don't want to have to hand crank my desk every day

The top one is quite beautiful. If you ever want to know the cost of a top of the range hanger look in The Rake magazine and make an enquiry.

Can anyone recommend a BIFL fine point ink pen? I love the Pilot G2 0.38mm which is about the perfect width. It just seems like most BIFL pens are much wider than that

Induction is tremendously expensive to repair, it is a trending concept but absolutely not a BIFL appliance type.

How are yall paying $3,000 for a desk?
For under $400, HomeDepot sells a "workbench" desk ( designed to be hammered on and beat on and abused ) sturdier than any commercial desk I've used at work. The manual crank is super easy and fast to use - even under great load. I used my rough carpentry skills to modify workbench desk to add monitors and under desk peripheral storage.
