Maybe search online to see if someone is giving away or selling Banker’s boxes cheap. I used those my last two moves and recycled them from the first for the second. Held up incredibly well and still have them.

Glad to see those are in Europe too. I was about to recommend them as they’re my go to but wasn’t sure if they were available there. I regularly put on 14 miles (22km) in a day walking and they are my go to. Stay tight to the foot, wick sweat, has good padding. Lasts a decent amount of time. I have pairs coming up on 2 years and are still in my rotation.

I bought an electric griddle of theirs a few years back and my wife and I have used it almost daily since. Awesome product.

Check Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, or "Buy Nothing" groups for people who just unpacked from a move and are giving their boxes away. Often there are a lot of strong boxes (from moving companies) that have obviously been used once but have lots of life still.
Otherwise, I've had great luck moving multiple states away with boxes purchased at either Home Depot or Lowe's - about $2/box depending on exact size (and cheaper if bought by the 10-pack). Yes, it seems ridiculous to pay for boxes but when time is short, it's a lot easier to pay the $20 than running all over town than free ones.
EDIT: I'd also recommend sorting through the totes you already have in storage to see if you can declutter and get some space back.

Liquor store boxes are smaller but much stronger! or look for corrugated plastic produce boxes, they deliver corn in them where I live.

I have wooden hangars for my clothes as well. They are cheaply made compared to yours (thinner guage wire and plastic pants bar).
The original set I purchased are 30 years old. The pants bar failed on a couple of them because it was only cheaply tacked into the wooden hangar. I purchased 2 dozen more since. They're great!

Same. I wish I could endorse this pen but I've owned two of them now, and in both cases the clicker stopped working with 6 months.
If there's some widely known fix for this, I'd love to learn about it. Great pen, but it's been surprisingly unreliable for me.

I mean, they won’t come from the same store but you can buy nice wooden hangers.

Stance socks with "infiknit" they last very long and they will replace them free if they tear.

Here's a Wikipedia article about it. Looks like they started using that pattern in 1981. Maybe he was off a couple years on dates?

Lost it briefly a few times over the years but luckily found it. Now I keep it paired with the folio and as long as I dont lose that, I won’t lose the pen.

The BIFL pen they gifted me is... useless for me. I appreciate the concept, but it's a ballpoint and I write exclusively in gel / water resistant ink. So a pen is a good thing to gift, but you might need to first know what people use to write with.
Also, the pen they gifted me is a Parker, but it writes worse than most BICs I ever used (from the day they gifted it to me). IDK how they managed this.

A good quality everyday item like a good belt, keychain, glasses case, Zippo lighter...something for the daily reminder. I guess whatever the person touches often.

Takes some getting used to, and careful is the game when you start. I much prefer it, and it works out cheaper.

You are conclusion shopping when you should be asking for specific help for your situation. You are also discounting SubZero based on feelings which is not logical. And replacing a known brand with an unknown brand is not more logical.
Zline has a 1 year warranty and made in China. SubZero has a 2 year warranty and made in 'Merica.
https://www.consumerreports.org/cro/news/2012/08/are-sub-zero-refrigerators-worth-the-price/index.htm has some brand inspiration based on reliability.
The end game is you have a harder row to hoe than a normal user as you have the same perils plus more:
- People only go online to complain, so most online reviews you see are negative or silly first world problems.
- Higher end appliances have a smaller pool for reviews than say appliances you can get at Home Depot.
I'd put more stock into price/warranty/features than online reviews for this category with a lean towards Consumer Reports reviews as they are the biggest aggregated source of reliability.

I've got one that was a gift to me in high school. I had lost it for a year or so when a teacher mistook it as hers, I recognised it on her desk a year later by a small scratch mark that was on it. Still have it to this day, resides in a small pen box in my car's glovebox now.

The fact that it has a hood makes me believe it was a early version on MOPP gear. Mission oriented protective posture or chemical protection.

Classroom Friendly Supplies has some nice and durable manual sharpeners. They have a tension clamp that you can mount to a desk. They come apart and have replacement parts.
