Easily worse driveways I've ever been on. I've never experienced this elsewhere

Yeah, it’s pretty bad, I don’t understand why there’s such a steep drop off between the driveway and the street.

I hate that the county uses these steep mountable curbs in residential areas rather than a normal 90 degree curb along the road with a lower-pitched apron for driveways.
Besides scraping cars with lower ride height, it also encourages people parking along the road to drive up the curb and park on the grass between the road and sidewalk.
Luckily our driveway is fairly low pitch, but my next door neighbor's isn't and I hear his car scrape every time he leaves. Maybe I'll recommend this to him.
Has anyone installed curb ramps at the end of driveway to avoid scraping bottom of car? Does the county allow these?
