My wife and I have been dying to move south for retirement, but damn... everywhere else seems like crap compared to just staying in CT.

We were actually targeting Fort Meyers, FL and we clearly dodged a bullet this time around. Apparently you can't even get home insurance in Florida anymore. Utah is having serious water problems, just like the entire southwest. California is beyond our wildest dreams expensive... unless you want to live over the mountains in the desert. Damn, there's nowhere warm to go that doesn't seem worse than good old CT. The U.S. Virgin Islands?
