I was there and I had no idea what was happening. I was in high school. They were singing and it was toward the end of the concert. And then the song kind of starts repeating. Lights kept going and most people thought it was a call for an encore. I remember they came back out for a little while and kept performing. Had no idea something happened until a few days later. Of course no social media, cell phones or anything else back then.
