But in our society we stopped punishing the crimes so your thoughts and feelings are as useless as you.

Yes, scared shitless. My man here fired a couple shots at a piece-of-shit kid. Maybe this will be his wake up call. Maybe this is the moment when he turns it all around. Or it’s the moment where he decides he’ll never go stealing and robbing without a gun again and the next time he does this he kills someone.

Then you pat yourself on the back because you thought never prosecuting thefts and car break ins was such a progressive idea.

Found this online. The moving violations they listed that do transfer were all things like DUI, negligence, etc. not speeding tickets.

Also, don’t offer up the information to your insurance company. They rarely, if ever, do a sweep of other states for violations. If they do, it would be the surrounding states.

Connecticut DMV

Each Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is generally the same, but might have specific policies that differ from state to state. Because of this, points for a violation in another state will not transfer to a person’s Connecticut license. However, any moving violation conviction that a person gets out-of-state will be communicated through all 50 states. For example, if you have a moving violation in Florida and you have a Connecticut license, the Florida DMV will contact the Connecticut DMV to inform them of your conviction.

>Did you know the drug overdose rate is 3 times as high in CT as it is in Texas? Or that that covid death rate is 50% higher in Ct?

331 vs 317 is not 50% higher. And population density is higher in the northeast.

Also, poor choice of word for this thread.

Draconian

>Draconian comes from Draco, the name of a 7th-century B.C. Athenian legislator who created a written code of law. Draco's code was intended to clarify existing laws, but its severity is what made it really memorable. According to the code, even minor offenses were punishable by death, and failure to pay one's debts could result in slavery. Draconian, as a result, became associated with especially authoritative actions that are viewed as cruel or harsh.

You could contact the department of labor with your state department information and registration papers for your SSN and see if the can either expedite it or hook you up with a tax id number for now

My parents and sister both switched from Comcast to Frontier last year and have had nothing but positive feedback. They switched because Comcast was expensive, unreliable, and never actually reached the speeds quoted. My BIL sometimes works from home and has had no issues since the switch. My father used to have so many issues trying to stream video, he thought it was the service he used. Ever since they switched his streaming service runs like butter.

We just moved to Seymour and also got Frontier fiber per their recommendation. I work from home every day and decided to go with their 500 Mbps package to save a bit of money. It's only been about a week and a half but so far it has been really great and reliable. I am almost always sitting right at 500Mbps down and up, which is great and crazy fast.

Based on my own and my family's experience, I would recommend the switch.

Yeah if you have an older router or older access points, that would do it.

I'm a fan of the Eeros. They also have a couple of wired ports in them that you can use for devices that have weaker wifi chips (Like a Playstation4 for example)

Former libertarian, same. After seeing anti-vaxxers in full swing I realized the government should not treat citizens like rational agents. If Germany is doing something like this it is because this is pragmatic and has good outcomes, not because it checked out after going through the ideology litmus test

Do they? Would you prefer I rephrase to cater to your delicate sensibilities since you pose no other solutions? These kids aren’t getting in trouble. They think nothing is going to happen. And what happens next? They get a little bolder. Maybe they get a little pushback from one of their victims. So the next time they bring a weapon with them. Maybe they use it. Maybe some poor young pregnant woman goes to get something out of her car at the wrong time and gets shot, loses the baby which destroys her mental health, and leads to life of depression and anxiety. All because you don’t want to prosecute teenage boys for crimes.
