Switched to Frontier Fiber from Comcast.

Frontier has better pricing/upload speeds/no equipment fees (still recommend using your own router).

Comcast had a better app and much quicker response time for tech calls (repairs/etr). I had intermittent outages during COVID on a weekly basis with Xfinity and a pending price increase for the internet alone. Outages were either resolved within an hour or same day.

Made the switch to frontier and so far only had one outage that took an entire week. Apparently there was a fire damaging my area. The app is useless. I'm saving hundreds a year with overall a better experience.

There's some incredible visualizations you can pull up on a laptop or iPad and it will help tremendously with finger placement.

yes, youtube. you can learn some basic chords and build off of that. You'll be amazed what you can learn. And the nice thing about youtube lessons is you can play them over and over.

I’m not at all supporter of jan 6th and they should be in jail. But you have to admit that the left called the blm riots a “mostly peaceful protest” because it was 93% peaceful, and seeing there were 200k people at jan 6th but only 500 went in, it was technically “mostly peaceful” by the same standards. Also 35 people were killed in blm riots vs 3 trump supporters and 1 cop on jan 6th. At trump’s inauguration, people tried to storm the white house lawn too, but it was stopped much quicker. Comparing 3 billion in damages, 35 lives lost with 1 million in damages with 1 life lost is hypocritical to me. None should have happened, but there’s a double standard with this to me. There’s still not one quote from Trump saying anything other than to go protest at the capitol. But cuomo literally said “no one ever said protests were supposed to be polite and peaceful”

Those would more or less be the same jobs for undocumented immigrants. Washing dishes, landscaping, construction, stuff like that. The suggestion below of contacting the DoL is good but the DoL can be less than helpful.

Yea that’s not true. Kids aren’t breaking into cars because they think nothing will happen. The consequences aren’t even a thought in their head at that moment. Reducing punishments is the first step, but the root cause is poverty, food/housing insecurity.

Material things can be replaced. Life cannot. And I didn’t say using force isn’t justified. I said losing life.

That is incorrect. No kid is thinking “hmm I can’t wait to steal stuff because the state won’t punish me for it!” The consequences of the crime isn’t even a thought in their head. Again address the root cause. Poverty. We can fix this issue by addressing what leads people to commit petty crime.

I hate Comcast. always have. So back in October when Frontier finally started offering fiber in by area I switched immediately, and I can tell you it was the biggest mistake I've ever made. The tech that did my install did a terrible job. I'm talking ran a wire right in front of a window, left the fiber line laying on the piping for my heat. Even after I told him not to TWICE, still cut the coax line. So after he left I fixed all of this myself. We had working internet for less than 48 hours. Thankfully I didn't cancel my Comcast service so I just ran a new line to replace the one he cut and hooked my cable modem back up. Over the next month I had 4 Frontier techs come out and say nothing was wrong, gave me a hassle when I had them swap out the PON box, and every time it'd work for a few hours and then crap out. I had multi hour conversations with customer service, technical support, etc. It took until December for them to finally admit that something was wrong and allow me to cancel my service. The best part is, they just sent me a new bill even though I don't a have Frontier anymore.

TL;DR never ever get internet from Frontier.

I have not heard any complaints about outages or connection problems on Frontier fiber.

Your license privileges will most likely be suspended in Indiana only. If you don’t have an Indiana license you should have nothing to worry about assuming you don’t get stopped in Indiana again, if you don’t pay.

I dropped to just internet a few years back. It was about $90 a month compared to $120 for basic internet and tv. It has since doubled.

I don't but I also shouldn't have to wait until a threat is inside my house is my point. We should be stand your ground, not just castle doctrine. On top of it, we're a duty to retreat state too. So if you're being car jacked or robbed in your own driveway, you have to basically let it happen because it's "not in your dwelling".

Last time I tried to get Comcast to just give me internet without TV, they told me they cost the same: TV + Internet for $X, just Internet also for $X. fwiw.

I would personally support tolls for all users, whether in state or not, but do acknowledge many will not be happy with that. It only makes sense that CT follows other states and gives a discount to residents.
