Now that Connecticut's fiscal house is in better shape, Lamont should invest in some serious public transit and infrastructure projects for the cities (especially the one near NYC). If the cities had more to do, young talent would stay in CT.

Got links to that Republican bill?

Smells like bullshit.

E: Yeah it's bullshit. Not even a real bill. Just one sentence, practically written in crayon. Zero shot it's going to pass.

Most of this dude's bills are identical. Pie in the sky headlines, zero chance of passing into law without being completely rewritten by someone competent, or, I should say, even written in the first place. Full of tax cuts for the super rich and benefit cuts for the poor. https://www.cga.ct.gov/asp/cgabillstatus/cgabillstatus.asp?selBillType=Bill&bill_num=SB00171&which_year=2023

I've never seen any of the Trader Joe's or JosephsBrau beers in CT stores (I've most often been to Danbury and West Hartford).

Trader Joe's in CT used to sell a store brand of beer (at least an amber and an IPA) made by "State Line Brewing" which was contract brewed by Cottrell Brewing. Cottrell closed in 2022, so I assume that State Line is gone as well.

I would guess that Trader Joe's haven't done the paperwork to distribute their beers in the state and it was simply easier to contract brew a different line in-state.
