The government shouldn't be as large as it is or have the power it has. I'm not saying things r perfect. I just personally believe we need a more liberty driven system. This means drastically reducing the size of government overall.

The biggest problem is the people! People are so dumb, they put everything in the recycling bins. I see it all the time. Everyone acts like theu care about recycling but they have no idea what doesn't belong in the recycling bin.

I didnt read the link, I just get infuriated by people thinking coffee grounds and plastic bags go in the recycling bin

Are you asking about property taxes or just in general? I believe the city is due for a reassessment this year and yes your assessment value will definitely be up a considerable amount (2018) so I’d expect your taxes to rise.

Parallel to that, Norwalk has grown in popularity becoming a more affordable Stamford with similar amenities and a lot to do.

Tons of hiking, breathtaking beauty in the fall when the leaves turn. History rich area as well. Schools are good and you are close enough to everything yet you feel like you’re in a peaceful nature setting.

Reply to comment by ct-yankee in UI Customer supplier change by FinnDool

Just got a letter from constellation asking my ex if he wanted to move to them from Eversource as supplier. I'm going to call constellation but I'm pretty sure this letter says it's 36 months locked in… Don't know what happened to the opportunity to opt out but probably time passed and everyone want to constellation.

Eversource has one heck of a nerve.

I also thought you were the other guy and definitely coulda been less snarky. But yea, exactly. The most dangerous city in CT is still a pretty safe place to be. Just "menacing" seems like a fairly accurate term to me if you're used to the rest of CT lol.
