this is just a word salad of nonsense. Also NHs government is even larger with 400 members in the House of Reps. 400 Reps who are all people who forever whatever reason don't have to work like a normal adult. This isn't a great model for a government

If you think about it, its disgusting how short a shelf life so many products have before ending up in the landfill. Factories and businesses making trash with a brief moment of not being trash. We should be trying to phase out any plastic that isnt recyclable and even reduce the amount of recyclable plastics used. Replace with paper, aluminum, or glass. Even if the paper is not recyclable, paper is far more renewable and doesn't break down into microplastics that end up in our food and water supply. Yes aluminum and glass are more energy intensive, but use more green energy to make them, and the cleanup is far less labor and energy intensive as metals and glass break down even if they arent all recycled.

Also absolutely no to repurposing plastics for other things like flooring, benches, shoes. All of that doesnt eliminate the end of life issues for plastic waste, which is the biggest problem. Its just kicking the can down the road a year or two.

If anyone would like to know more details about Nathan Hale, his capture, and the Culper ring spy network in general, I’d recommend reading: Washington’s Spies: The Story of America’s First Spy Ring , by Alexander Rose. It goes into very in-depth details about the man who was responsible for catching young Hale as well as accounts of witnesses who were at the hanging. This book was later adapted to the television show on AMC- Turn: Washington’s Spies

I’ve brought three vehicles there for tire changes and so far I’ve come back to: broken air pressure sensors that they refused to admit they broke or refund, dead batteries, scratched paint, broken bolts, and they even fried my electrical system once. Every time I’ve gone back they’ve tried to tell me I know nothing about cars and that it wasn’t their fault. They’re rude, shit at their job, and crooks. I’ve had to bring my personal mechanic and lawyer to their door too many times

Most of them do have other income, no one is disputing that. But what professions allow you to take several months off each year to go to Hartford? Take a look at the current legislators we have - a big proportion are lawyers, real estate agents, or retired. Our current structure excludes basically everyone else. That’s fine with you? You don’t think we might benefit from having other perspectives in Hartford?

Try to wait another year or two. I see a lot of people going into foreclosure soon. Since the COVID relief is done. They need to start paying again. And the people who have bought houses in the last year at the top of market might have issues when the market drops. Plus if inflation keeps going up people might have to sell to downsize or whatever. If u can wait I would wait. Although apartment rent is at ath too. Idk

Yes, this is a problem, more than the salary I think. It’s one thing to be paid X for a part time job. But how are you supposed to find a career that allows you to work the other part of the year? It limits public service to people who can work for themselves or not work at all.

The reelect mormonreformist committee who your spouse is on the board of and gets a 200k salary for.

All of the various "charities" whom you now are on the board of can pay you.

At the federal level you can not get paid for speeches but they can donate to a charity of your choosing.

Universities love to keep politicians on salary give a lecture/speech now and again to justify it.

It's all in the filings so hit up opensecrets and dig in, plenty of politicians do it.

I've mentioned Culper in a couple - but haven't focused exclusively on it. There are so many excellent PBS and other shows on it, I don't know that I'd add much to the narrative, but it IS on my radar screen!
