Not saying I don’t agree with you, but corruption will creep in no matter the salary.

It took me 2 years to finally take the class. The classes are small. Just keep trying and be willing to travel anywhere in state.

How about you prioritize increasing teachers' salaries first? THOSE are more important.
It's good to keep the legislature's wage low. Otherwise, you get the problem the overall US congress has; people who use their positions to reap all manner of profit with just enough credibility to keep getting elected, all but guaranteeing they serve their entire lives.
Low legislature wage makes your legislature more honest as lame-duck legislatures are more likely to find better money elsewhere.

Ohh I know. Let’s burn the trash and creat energy. We need power and we need a place to put our trash. Has anyone thought of this? Ohh wait. Never mind.

Posting this with a few thoughts:
A) CTGOP already made this pitch state-wide and did abysmally.
B) Just a continuation of trying to patch up poor decisions over the decades of PNZ boards.
C) The entire premise is just silly because already existing old stock "naturally affordable" is already calculated in the schedule, just not at a 1:1 ratio to minimum threshold.

Maybe it’s just the location. I’ve had good experiences. Not sure how an electrical system gets fried putting on tires. That’s impressive.

Any company doing cannabis delivery in Connecticut is going to be stuck delivering products from the same four incumbent licensed producers for at least the next year or so.

They should make minimum wage, what's good for the goose is good for the gander.

On paper it's "part time" but for the longest time it's effectively been a full time, I do believe there's additional pay for work rendered on Committees and Sub-Committees.

fiscal conservative here totally against corporate money in politics. Citizens United would solve 90% of the lobby problem

100%. Even though the market sucks, there’s still a fucking ton of other people that are also interested in buying and they don’t care.
We bought earlier in the year but I’ll always remember a house we looked at in a “less than desirable” town that backed a lot owned by the town and was being remedied for contaminated soil (which of course was not listed anywhere in the listing). The lot sloped into this house’s backyard and we were concerned that the house’s soil was contaminated too, so asked the realtor if the owners were willing to do a soil test to ensure the backyard was safe (as it also had a well). The realtor laughed and said that they already had multiple offers waiving any inspections so a soil test was the last thing on their mind. A few days later, the house sells and a family with four young kids is posted by the realtor congratulating them on their purchase.
So yeah, unfortunately, even asking for basic safety net things is still out the window in this market.

I'm fine too as long as somehow we can ban lobbyists.

Didn’t they recently give themselves a raise? Also they get 5k per committe they’re on. I do know they’re part time as well but honestly, at this point just make it a full time position and pay them accordingly

Downtown, Westville and East Rock are all perfectly safe at night. I lived in New Haven for 15 years and never had a problem.

Aluminum is the best, plastic containers need to go away and just use cans. Easy to recycle. If i buy something, I try my best to buy it out of an aluminum can if at all.
As far as cardboard/paper goes. I heat the house with wood. All Cardboard/paper just gets thrown into the stove (save it in the basement during the summer)

Hmm, uhh a part time job for retirees paying $28,000 seems perfectly acceptable to me. Plenty of people in CT working full time for $35,000....
