Whomever wrote this article has never been to LA. There is nothing like I-5 on a Friday in the summer, it's like actual hellmouth opened, and forced you understand that pain is real, and you will never leave this eldritch horror of unspeakable, twisting congestion. It's the actual representation of the highway to hell.

My husband has family on the shoreline and while we live NYC we are about to have our second kid and just can’t afford to live in NYC without moving from a neighborhood we deeply love

Why would politicians with shorter terms be less self serving? If anything, knowing they're going to go right back to their private sector company in a couple years give them even more motivation to represent that company's interests.

Bob's or Keiths in Middletown are both great guys. Keith tends to be busier bc his shop is small.

And fwiw... brakes are pretty easy. If you can't do it yourself (you can), any mechanic is going to be able to do it for you. Just get a couple quotes and pick whoever.

If you want to register for a course, you need to be waiting at 11:59PM to sign up at midnight the day registration opens. I signed up for a class recently and was successful doing this. Class filled quickly within a few minutes of midnight.
