It's not ever going to get better unless public transportation takes a huge swing up. Free buses is nice, but they don't run often enough for a ton of people and only cover certain areas. And the time is insane, I used to have someone working for me almost a decade ago that would travel 4 hours a day on the bus (round trip), where if they had a car it would've been maybe 1.5 hours with bad traffic, an hour normally. who the fuck wants to sit on a bus for 4 hours a day?

Consider the Farmington, West Hartford, Avon area. Very good schools, although housing prices are high. Also, I want to add that the people down voting you do not have the state of Connecticut's best long term interests in mind. If our state is to survive and thrive, we want to encourage New York residents to move here and bring their young family as well. So I say welcome.

They lowball you and make you think you don’t have other options. Better to find an agent. You don’t need money to sell a house, even a broken shitty house. Agent gets paid from the sale, so you don’t have to front anything.

CT Valley. I call them the Applebee's of craft breweries. Imo, there are far better sours out there. I hate that they are the only brewery in my town. I pretend they don't exist and consider Paddle Creek my hometown brewery instead (and I'm very close to East Hartford Brewers).

Paddle Creek is highly underrated.
