I'd say it's an okay area. A little bit run down, but not super dangerous. My aunt lives one street over on Fairmont and when I go visit her, I don't see anything too crazy.
Farren and Fairmont are in the upper part of what they call "The Annex". You don't really hear anything bad happening in that area, compared to other neighborhoods in NH.

trucker hats are the norm for all my guy friends, living in rural ct, wear what you want where you want. I’ve seen cowboy hats here & there too!

Let's stop kidding ourselves, there are PLENTY of solutions to the problem of traffic but there is no political will to solve them. Not when lobbying firms like AAA spend billions lobbying congress to nix any legislation that favors mass transit over cars.

Yes, really. We very much like to mind our own business and would like others to do the same.
There’s a guy in New London that only wears a cape regardless of weather and seeing him used to brighten my day. Idk if he’s still around, I hope so.
