Can confirm. A close friend of a family member was run over while riding his bicycle by a drunk cop, and his cop father helped to try and cover it up.

Putting out this kind of press release when CT cops have their own skeletons does nothing but demonstrate a lack of self awareness. And it's in really poor taste in my opinion.

I think it is that there are other “units” just like the one in Memphis all over the United States, that state-sanctioned violence against civilians via a progressively armed police seems dystopian, and that a person can wind up dead from a traffic stop. Sure, these cops were arrested, but the ability for them to do what they have done in the first place is what the problem is. Edit: also, if it weren’t for similar protests in the past over similar events then these 5 cops might have gotten away with murder. National public outcry at these things helps ensure justice is found.

Thanks, I enjoyed watching the series "TURN" on AMC about the Culper spy ring

Although there was embellishments and some freelance work on the scripts it still was a good rendition of the Culper spy ring and those involved

Keep up the good work! 👍

Reply to Yale by thug_nificent

I used to work in New Haven. Granted it's been a few years but the city government was um, seriously corrupt. In order to be considered for city contracts, certain donations needed to be made in sufficient quantities to certain campaign funds. So Yale may be a problem but the city "leaders" were also an issue.

My in-laws are in guilford and it’s nice but my husband doesn’t like the commute to the city. Milford is nice but schools are eh. Greenwich is lovely but too expensive.

Yeah, I bought property in SONO 16 years ago because a development was starting next door with residential, commercial, street level retail, and a park. The city gave the developer such a hard time that they sold the property and it sat vacant for years...now it's a mall.

My point is it's a bit difficult to predict. You may want to look at the city's Facebook page and also search for other "Norwalk" FB pages. There are a few that cover Norwalk news and upcoming developments and projects.
