No need to be nasty. It appears to be a separate entity for zoning and regulatory reasons per the article posted above; appears the original intention was to build a church, but there were concerns that government organizations would be excluded from partnerships d/t separation of church/state-type laws. So I wouldn't be too quick to dismiss it as a recruiting ground for some religious body.

eee i love buggies too! if you like butterflies, the Sharon Audubon has a monarch butterfly breeding program. obviously off season right now, but cool to see if you're up here in the summer. they also have a wildlife rehab center on site and focus on birds.
i hope you enjoy it up here as much as i do, and feel free to reach out if you need more ideas!

It gives off strong cult vibes and is definitely not my cup of tea. But they largely seem to be harmless rich weirdos.

Have one almost exactly like that. Looks good with boots both cowboy or chukka or otherwise.
I don't wear it super often because I prefer newsboys and beanies on my shaven head, but it's a step up from a fedora or trilby and more practical than a full cowboy.

I used to row on the river for crew. Current is VERY strong in certain parts. Undertow is real. Would not recommend. Also the river itself is kinda meh.

The website I recommend is STARVoting.org and it explains it quite simply. I think it's easier to understand and most importantly easier to score as RCV can have some edge cases that can be confusing and rile up the stolen election narratives.

I was forced here with my family while visiting back home in CT and was bored out of my mind. I suggested we go pumpkin picking at Jones Farm but noooo let go to the religious art farm park. We ended up at a pumpkin farm.

SO INTERESTING. Ray Dalio and Bridgewater were constant names being thrown around at one of my previous employers. They did a lot of work for the hedge fund and Dalio. Very intriguing since it was just fodder to me as I was working my way through my career and then to run across this on Reddit and deciding to click on that article to have the names in there.

I would say yes it is cult lite. There is a lot of strangeness going on there. The security is so over the top and every square inch is under surveillance. They have a secret room where everything is watched and recorded. Hmmmmm

Reply to comment by toasty_boi12345678 in Why does CT only have oval tracks or kart tracks, I feel like it would be good to have a grand prix style track for racing by toasty_boi12345678
Car and racing culture is extremely prevalent in CT. Maybe only 2nd to the greater LA area. You're speaking from a perspective that lacks experience.
We're the 3rd smallest state in the country and have 2 road courses, one being very highly decorated and historical. We live in the oldest, most developed and dense part of the country. High real estate costs, lack of availability, high taxes and even still, higher insurance premiums make it near impossible for the development of a new track.
If you think $300 for entry is a lot, the upkeep of the vehicle and safety equipment in order to participate will be staggering to you.
Money conscious and any kind of racing do not belong in the same sentence. AutoX with CART, or Fairfield SCCA are good for the entry level. Track Nite in America can get you in to whet your appetite. Otherwise, start saving.
Also, they're called road courses - not "GP style". GP implies that Formula 1 has run the track.
