Things like feature bans, mag capacity limits, the NFA etc? Yeah, those are unconstitutional. Things like taking gun rights away from a convicted murderer, or the laws in place that prohibit a person convicted of domestic violence from legally buying a gun? Not so much.

They’re pretty big names and have been kicked around in the news / social media for years. Dalio doesn’t exactly shy away from media exposure. Maybe you’re only noticing mention of them now, but I know way too much about both Ray Dalio and Bridgewater for someone with no real interest in either.

In fact, I’m on video screaming at a cop who was about to taze my friend in 2020 and I warned him I was filming. The mayor came on the highway with us.

Actually, you made a great point. When you're not arrested or detained, why are cops allowed to put their hands on you? You see it all the time. There was stupid article about guy not wanting to tip a robot operated bar in Vegas and one line that stuck out as a sore thumb was an officer put a hand on his shoulder......they wanted to talk to him outside of the loud bar. Similar situation a witness to something in CT bar fight maybe, similar like an officer put his hand on the witnesses back to move him to a quiet location. Whatever the reason is they seem to be allowed to touch you whenever they want you. You touch them even friendly touch is a crime, or you touch anyone it can be treated as an assault. Makes no sense to me.

No they haven’t. The Connecticut historical society has an entire archive. Lol. We provide our own security and West Haven police broke a man’s spine in 2020, denied me my asthma meds in 2021. They just beat on Gordon Cox from Shelton. Etc.

I gather the protesters were armed...I support gun rights but was that necessary here in CT, or is that a copy of national groups? Sure, nationally police violence is a thing, but historically (particularly in recent years) protests have never been met with unjustified violence. Police have generally treated peaceful protesters with respect, and announcing that you're armed seems inflammatory.

Again, I support carry, but was it necessary as a protestor policy?

White Horse Country Pub in New Preston is a great place with a lot of interesting things like a 1920 Indian motorcycle behind the bar; and great food. I live near the shore but on the occasion we do a drive in the fall, we try to go there.
