We don’t have a team because the facility they played in was outdated for years before they left and it’s only gotten worse.

If you’re talking about the Wolf Pack, you’re right, I’m not a fan. They aren’t the Whalers. If you’re talking about the Whalers, go fuck yourself.

GOT THIS

So we moved to CT from New York four or fives years ago. I had a Camry, only 100k miles on it, I could have beat that shit for 200k more EASY. Anyway, less than a week in to the new house, I go to drive to work and my car skids off the road literally four houses down the road from my driveway. Done. Subaru

We went to a wedding there this winter. The food was good and the venue/service seemed good. The happy hour/ appetizers were better than the actual plated dinner, but that seems true at every wedding venue. It is almost impossible to serve a good entree to 200 people at once.

IANAL, but I'm like 99% sure that's untrue. Electricity companies are not like ISPs.

Contracts in CT are worthless. One of the few good laws this state has makes it illegal for a company to impose termination fees/penalties for ending a contract early. Accordingly, a contract that locks in a rate can literally only help the consumer in this state. Rate goes down? End your contract. Rate goes up? You're contract protects you.

Nah it means i have reaaaaally gotten into growing my own mushrooms! Not that my joke is smart!

Speaking of which, i highly recommended entangled life by merlin sheldrake. It will blow your mind.

Like how trees communicate to other trees (avatar way of water style) through mycelium.

My wife and I got married there and the service was fine. I was very happy with the food. But the huge selling point for me, being frugal as I am, was the fact they have weddings on Sundays. That and being off peak season saved us a TON of money. Before taxes and such it was $75 per plate. The next cheapest was $90.

Mike’s ristorante in Norwalk is so, so old school. Took my team there for lunch one day, spent two hours there just talking to the guy. Didn’t even give us a menu, just said “these are the things that I’d like to make for you”. He gave me a tour of his kitchen and shit, real deal guy

Edit: this is one of those “I really didn’t want to reply with this and blow the spot up” type of comments, but as a foodie I have to spread the love
