The stewardesses shoot 1/5th of the plane in the back of the head every time so just cross your fingers but if you make it past that i hear its otherwise pleasant

Just did on Saturday, extremely smooth. $365 round trip for three of us to Orlando, did not pay for bags or seat selection.

No place will be safe from climate change- its just some places will be lethal compared to CT.
They have to begin planning now for what could be a very unstable future in Connecticut. Many folks have no idea of the threat looming.

Can’t blame them for the move. Average attendance at Hurricanes games is around 15K people over the past 3 years or so, which seems to be the average for an NHL team (hurriedly checked by picking random NHL teams and Google). Raleigh is also built up better than Hartford to actually get fans to the games as well.

We have a two party system. When it’s time for me to vote, I sit down and look at how each party will affect the things I care about.
It’s actually pretty simple from my perspective. I don’t care what the parties are called: After all, republicans used to be a very different 170ish years ago. I vote for the party that makes my life better and aligns with my morals 🤷🏾
I really don’t care what they are called or their color. Voting for a third party does not move me closer to my goals for our country/state. Voting Democrat does. It’s not a loyalty issue, it’s a practicality issue.
If you want to argue about a third party system, you go do you. I’m well aware of the faults of our current situation.

As Hmt5592 mentioned, Kent came to mind for me as well. Swyft is an awesome restaurant. Kent will be a serious drive for you from Lisbon though!
A trip to Mystic could be fun, some shops, good walks, and a slew of great restaurants for dinner. Oyster Club and Shipwrights Daughter come to mind.
Litchfield is another option but also a drive. Lots to do on the main street and you could go to Arethusa Al Tavolo for dinner (depending on how soon it is you may not be able to get a reservation, make sure you call though as the online system never has any openings).

Excuse YOU? Sorry, my dad has parkinsons and has been a vegetable for 3 years now. Pardon me for being curious about something that could end up killing him. I haven't had a night out in 3 years. Sorry if you can't understand that.

Maybe vote someone other than red or blue?
Amazing how this sub uses reds as blame for their continuing to vote for blue idiots.

Nice, inexpensive airline. Security takes minutes instead of hours. Little to no amenities, but good for quick flights. Never had a bad experience.

that is a really really good point, Maybe the town should buy it from you? or give you a tax break? but in my humble opinion, something should be done. Also, it is a very narrow space, most streets already have enough clearance room to make a small sidewalk
