Reply to Governor Lamont Announces 2023 Legislative Proposal: Provide Tax Relief for Low-Income Workers by IndicationOver
I'm commented on this before, but I am disappointed that Lamont is look at tax cuts. Doing so is short-sighted and the state would be better off long-term if surpluses were used to pay down debt or improve transportation.

I'm pretty down for anything, the issue is my friends all have boyfriends and can't seem to put that aside for girl time, you know? I love to cook, go for hikes, shop, do crafts, watch sports, try new places, pretty much anything!

I've tried to do my part. Didn't even turn on the snowblower in December. It's not helping.

What company did your solar install? I only got 1 quote for solar of 40k and thought that was quite expensive for a 2000 sq ft house with no EV's yet.

Madison and Guilford are almost interchangeable but Madison inches out Guilford by a few hairs. They're both beautiful towns and you can't go wrong with either. Madison has a better youth sports program, better sports facilities - highschool sports are also more competitive. Madison has three town beaches vs. Guilford's one. Guilford has better restaurant options, a better downtown, and seems more down to earth than Madison. Madison is more snobby/stuck-up. I've looked at homes for sale in both towns for a few years and Madison has lower inventory and higher prices IMO

Thank you for looking that up! Maybe someone should make a post with the info. Given how relatively mild it’s been so far, I worry this cold weather is going to catch people unawares.

Reply to comment by Miles_vel_Day in Which method should you use for reverse parking during a road test? by [deleted]
I read books about driving that made it sound like backing out of a parking space was harder than backing into one. However, I actually feel that backing into a space is harder.

From Vernon to Enfield there is no rep showing on their site.
If you use the distributor search on their main page for a shop that isn't served by them, you'll then get a button that will allow you to shop online instead.

My gf is struggling with this right now.
We're both 32, I grew up in CT, made friends here, moved to Boston for work.
Met her there, we moved in together, cost of living pulled me back to CT, she followed.
I reunited with my friends, as if nothing changed, but now all her friends are still in the Boston area. Ironically, she did have a CT friend she met in college, but that friend of hers LEFT CT I think the SAME WEEK we moved into CT because her relationship ended, so she moved back to Boston with her family.

Meanwhile, all but one of my CT friends are single so there's not really much room to meet others through them necessarily.
She's also still job hunting so hasn't yet had the opportunity to make friends via work.
