Gaming (video, board, and tabletop), music (playing/watching), skydiving, and general bar time shenanigans. The last one was usually with the boys though. But honestly that one is also the least requirement-intensive of them so idk lol.

Normally I’d agree, but so little of the actual income tax dollars comes from that demo that it really doesn’t hit the bottom line too bad. It’s especially true when you consider that some of it gets clawed back in sales tax.

You probably have baseboard resistive or, at least, radiant floor. I have radiant ceiling, the most earth 70’s coke driven heating solution.

Their meat and fish are usually higher quality. That’s my main thing at Stews.

Royal Guard Fish and Chips on main st Danbury is my go to for Indian/ Pakistani in Danbury. The restaurant is a pretty shitty hole in the wall but the food is good and cheap.
The Brookfield Market in the four corners also has a really good Indian menu.

Cook's Nook in Wilton is amazing. The sort of place you wouldn't think even exists anymore.

I can help too if you have cashapp/venmo/PayPal. Nobody should be stranded in the cold.

Omg. Mine was $560 for a 2000 square foot house. We just moved here so it was sticker shock for sure.

I love them both. Public schools in both towns are excellent. I haven’t looked up the mill rates in a while but I did get the impression Guilford’s are getting a little high. The vibe people are talking about is a thing, a littje, but both Towns tend to be gentle kind people or try to foster that.
The old saying in Connecticut is this:
“Guilford for culture, Madison for class, Clinton for clams.”
They’ve changed somewhat over the decades though. At one time Guilford was just cranking out amazing artists and musicians
I would happily live in either of them

Basically the same town, but I find the people in Guilford much, much more chill.
That and, at least, you don’t have “tall and handsome” Bob Stefanowski as a neighbor.

For sure! Some things are pricier than others, but they do have some decent deals!

Mine was north of $700 in a modest house, but to be fair it’s the stupidest version of electric heat I’ve ever seen.
