There were so many more back in the day. I used to work at Lechter’s in the Buckland Hills Mall in the ‘90s. That store was stuffed to the gills with kitchen goodies. The entire side wall was just gadgets. I suppose Williams Sonoma is the default chain store now.

I think the feed/burn system on the Harman’s are much better than the burn pot style(my first stove was a QuadraFire Classic Bay 1200, still running from 2008). I prefer the cleaning/maintenance of the Harman above other stoves, that for me is the best selling feature since I’m doing the maintenance anyways.

Bloated pensions, outdated tenure, union protection.
Please tell me all about the Nazis when your union exists solely for your own financial benefit; education has nothing to do with it.

Honestly, you don’t even have to be all that outgoing for it. I made some awesome friends simply by going to the same restaurant every week for a year. I wasn’t even looking for friends, I just simply started making small talk each day.

I feel like my shy side makes it hard for me to meet friends. It’s a lot easier to chat online, which is why I think Bumble is a good way to meet people

This is good advice. While I’m saving up for one, my in-laws have one and heat their 1,600 sq ft colonial almost exclusively with their pellet insert. They use about 3 tons of pellets (~$900 this year) and 1 tank of oil a year.
I was quoted $6800 for a Harman pellet insert and install - pricy, but the Harman is the best of the best. And when I looked into this in September, they were backordered until late Feb/early March. I was also looking into mini-split heat pumps too, which are a much more efficient electric heat source, but was quoted $28,000 for that system (which also turns out was too small for my house anyway).
If you don’t mind the hard work, a wood stove works good too - I had one at my old house (with electric heat) and heated almost exclusively with the wood stove - that was back during all those crazy October storms, so firewood was free and plentiful. Too much work for me these days though.

Look up COVID conjunctivitis and COVID toe.
COVID is so hard to kill off, it preoccupies your immune system and you end up with flare ups of your toe fungus and your eye boogers.
Most people probably don't even notice that their athletes foot flared up when they got COVID or woke with a bit more crust in their eye than usual.
Severe COVID toe, 🤮. Large, yellow, puss-filled fissures of the skin, severe swelling, and bleeding. IV antifungal, surgical debridement, and partial amputation in the most severe cases; could progress to necrosis, sepsis, organ failure, and death.
Imagine getting tricked by antivax conspiracies and then getting killed by essentially severe athletes foot, secondary to COVID-19. 🤣

In the tool truck trade, is this a no no? I've rolled up to a Snap-On truck, once on my bike, and bought tools. Money's green.

Nobody being sneaky about it. Of course public school teachers want a strong union and funded pensions. It’s sad and telling you view this as a gotcha.
At no point did I say my voting was altruistic. I literally said I vote for what’s best for me and mine as part of my voting strategy. As does everyone else.

Gotta vote the blues in to make sure your union remains strong and your pension is funded.
And you wanted to pretend your voting habits were altruistic in nature. Sneaky snake, indeed!

We made most of our current friends through Girl Scouts, soccer, library activities, summer camp, etc. start with play dates, then dinner parties, now basically every weekend we’re hanging out doing something.

Yes, that’s what progressives are all about: me me me. 😂.
Edit: And NEA leaning left surprises you? The right is in an all out war against education and is one small step from jailing teachers just like Nazi germany. It’s not exactly shocking our biggest union supports the party that isn’t using us as a pawn to distract their dumb voters.
