You can use clay or play-doh in place of a potato.

Wagos are hot garbage. Something that can just easily pop open. Shit should be banned.

To sell it in a store in Canada and the US they have to meet the electrical code in those countries though, same with safety standards. That doesn’t apply to Amazon crap.

Those are for making holes in mild steel breaker panels when you don't want to be drilling. You have to sandwich the metal with the punch, something that's clearly not possible with an installed sink.

Yup I’m not buying anything electrical from CYXVIYYYQBR. I’m not saying you can’t get high quality Chinese products, but those products probably aren’t being sold on Amazon for $7.

As you can see there’s a lot of empty space 😅

Make sure it's unplugged and use a needle nose plier to grab the lip where the glass used to meet. See if it'll teist out

Verify that the power is off (at the breaker is best). . Re-verify that the power is off with a voltmeter.
Once you are sure that the chances of getting zapped are as close to nil as you can get them, you can use insulated needle nose pliers to spin the old base out.

Making sure the power is off first to the light. You might have to use some needle nose pliers to grab the outer metal edge of the broken bulb and twist it out. Again making sure there is no power to the light socket first

Unplug the appliance, and use a needle nose pliers to grab the edge.

First turn off the breaker for the light then get needle nose pliers and open them inside the metal part of the light and twist.

You are incorrect. Stranded wire is absolutely fine to use with receptacles. The majority of wire run through conduit (think commercial electrical applications) is all stranded, not solid. The only issue is putting stranded and solid under the same terminal (such as a backwire plate, which can accept two conductors), but that isn't happening here.

That’s awesome, we’ve been thinking about moving the tub and shower to by the window. Where was the shower located with yours?

The film is ok and there are a lot of patterns available.
An alternative would be to find a hanging piece and have someone make a sash for it. That could be significantly less expensive than having a custom piece made.

I would also use a drill bit for steel rather than the holesaw, but I wouldn't bother to step up the bits. Easier to just start with the desired size bit, as wear isn't issue with one hole thru sheetmetal. That lets you drill one hole and you're done.

Is there any way to install a disposal switch above the sink and fish some wire though the wall behind the sink? That might be easier than drill the hole.

Absolutely you should I think somewhere around 85 you can be less vigilant, but even then there was plenty of material left that could still be used either through loopholes or pure contractor bullshittery.

Having attempted to roll a ceiling, I'll vouch for that, and promise to never do it again.

turn off power. get a spare plastic bottle. Heat it's mouth. stick on to the bulb. let it cool. twist open.
