Nice casestudy! As someone looking to build one soon I found your project very informative and you’re results are great

I could tell as soon as I saw the spreadsheet breakdown and solid works rendering that you had to have a ME background haha. Great work!

Thank you! I have a mechanical engineering background, but no construction experience. Anything that looks like it was a good idea either came from watching youtube videos, or was a suggestion from my father (who is a retired teacher but was/is an unpaid volunteer handyman on nights and weekends).
The solar light is a great idea. Thanks for the suggestion!

Is this shit your job?
This post is so meticulous with beautiful photos and concise information. The shed is fantastic, but you already knew that.
What I’m blown away by is the sheer quality of this post. I mean, 160 photos? Most of them with captions? Who does that?
Thank you for taking the time to put this together for the sub. I feel like I should be donating to your Patreon or something.

In the trades you can use a light coat of form release or diesel and that will keep any concrete from sticking to the inside of the tank

Lay bag flat, cut a slit in the center of the bag, width wise. Lift bag slightly from bottom on either side of slit. Bag should now be two little bags. Cut the connecting paper. Pour each half bag slowly into mixer. Should help. Plasticizer can help smooth the mix but shouldn't be needed unless the pour requires it. Also spray the mixer inside to keep the high sides wet. I usually leave a good bit of water out and add by spraying sides until I get the right mix.

As someone who has built sheds and have been accused of having them professionally built, I applaud you. Looks excellent!

This is so well done. Great job! How much experience do you have building? I built a shed by myself for my goats and it was pretty rough looking compared to this, but I obviously was just throwing it up for my goats to get out of the weather. I’m assuming you either have an engineering background or construction background.
For the interim you can grab a solar light for the inside. Like $30 on Amazon.

The concrete guy I work with have a spray bottle of diesel fuel. They spray all their tools etc so nothing sticks. Also pour in slowly.

I have a few electrician clients I could contact. Let's hope they come to my area.
Thanks for you input :)

Thanks for the clarification. I am indeed confused since I don't know much about those.

I got a good recommendation for an electrician and he came to my house and gave me recommendations based on the exact panel I have. Apparently some older panels the companies are still in business, so you can use them for a long time, but others he recommends replacing. So I’d get a recommendation from a couple local folks and see what they say - Key is to find someone who you know is pretty good and Won’t be trying to upsell you

Residential outlets are all 15A with a few exceptions for 20A receptacles.
Putting higher amperage breakers in for outlets is not safe and won’t solve your flickering issue.
I would get an electrician to come and look at the system.

This, a super plasticizer should make all the difference and not wreck the w/c ratio
Duke-Kaboom t1_j13nndr wrote
You are slightly confused my friend.
10 KA is the interrupting capacity of the breaker. Not the amperage rating of the breaker.
The smallest residential breaker you can get is a 15A breaker, so you do not have 10A fuses.

I put the water in, turn it on, then slowly add the mix so that it's dropping mostly into the water.

Simple. Toss the light and get a flush mount LED light bar. The mounting bracket should cover up that hole.

You know it's the real deal when he takes all those shingles off to replace the drip edge that got a nail hole. I would've put some silicone around that shit and called it a day lol.
