No, halfway up Beinn Dubh in Luss. The view is incredible after only about 20-30 minutes walking.

I've not been up Conic Hill in a few years but someone told me it's not great for sunrise so I went for the other side of the loch, as you say.

Yeah, good choice. Conic Hill is better for sunset.
