funfact: You can explore the park from a different perspective with a volcano boat tour. There are a few different options, but the standard cruise lasts about two hours and gets you up close and personal with Wizard Island and Phantom Ship.

I have this picture, idk where I would post it, of my fingers reaching out over the edge (I was laying on my stomach to look down) and I can still feel how thrilling it was every time I look at it.

Oh yeah, probably the last place you might want to kayak haha (although exceptionally beautiful). It is a 700ft+ single drop waterfall and the power of that water is almost unbelievable. I stood in it, on the edge of the cliff, and it is just this wild place.

Visited NZ in September and dear lord do I miss it. Not sure if I’ll find a more beautiful place than Milford sound…

It's my dream country to visit! Currently saving up for it and just jotting down places to see and things to do. I'm definitely adding this!

They can be really beautiful, but it doesn't feel like a place where humans belong. It gets old quick. Being surrounded by water and trees feels a lot more natural and comforting. This just adds to the aesthetic beauty, in my opinion.
