Interesting to see such lush vegetation right next to it. The glaciers I'm used to are usually surrounded by a barren moraine that takes decades or longer to be colonised by plants.

It was!! The NPS have installed a sign indicating how much the glacier has melted in the past 100+ years and it's mind boggling to imagine the scale of it in the past years

Great shot of an underrated mountain range! The Henry Mountains were the last mountain range in the contiguous US to be added to maps. Prior to their naming, they were often called the Unknown Mountains

It's always weird to see the name "fjord" on things that are too far from the sea to be fjords.
