I visited it when I was 18. I was told how much beauty there was around but sadly I was one of the tourists cruising down the river in a rubber ring and getting off my head. I’d like to go back and do the grown up things instead though. Laos is stunning.

I'm not into any of those so I couldn't really tell if it was still a thing or not there. But they are still available for those looking for it. But man, if people are only there for those 'funny snacks', they are missing a tons of views. Things are gorgeous wherever you look. Myanmar is also outstanding for landscape tourism, sadly now ravaged by the military dictator.
But let's not get too OOT here. My point is, if you have the chance to visit, go for it, you won't be disappointed.

Aha
What a beauty
I like those landscapes, and make them as well
Mostly not appreciated here, so I hope this one will be the exception
maybe an award will help?

Hey Henry. It’s obvious from your previous posts that you post things in the hopes of getting attention. I too hope that things get better for you and you no longer have to cope in this fashion.

I ran across that beach, hopping from boulder to boulder, when I was 13. Felt like flying

Shame that the vast majority of tourists that go there never look up from their magic mushroom and opium shakes. Or is that all in the past now?

Our guide in the lower canyon was very good about the geology and history. The upper canyon guide wasn’t as in-depth but yeah he took some good photos of my family.

Antelope os gorgeous and the Navajo are great people.
But let me ask you: wasn’t that tour the most touristy thing you’ve ever done in your life?
Felt really cool bs’ing with the guides they were all cool but damn the tour needed a little bit more history or something. got really sick of just being told “yo this is a really cool photo spot” every time I rounded a corner.

it's on the Appalachian Trail near Pearisburg. a rare place with an unobstructed view of the mountains no powerline or lights - great night skies.

Hey, thank you so much for the award given, really appreciate it :D
About the shot itself, out of tons of shots I tried on the spot, this is the one that gives me the most satisfaction. At first I was doing burst shots, thinking of combining them in PS for greater long exposure effect, since I didn't have tripod nor filter at that moment. When I put them together, as you said before, it became rather 'off'. So in the end I only picked one single exposure at 1/5 second and the result was much better as shown here ;D Also, I'm a total noob in landscape as I'm mainly practising street photography and minimalism, so this is only something I shoot in between everything. Still much to learn.

You have to leave trail a bit to get to this location. It's beautiful and very unpopulated
