Acadia is beautiful, but Maine has so much more to offer. The view of Lily Bay at Moosehead is stunning, as is much of the Katahdin region.
You just have to leave the coast and enjoy the scenery. You may drive for 30-40 miles at a time in Piscataquis County and not see another vehicle on the road.

Maybe confusing flora with foliage? Ngl I didn’t know those two words weren’t synonymous until I read your comment

You’re just lucky none of my Grand Canyon pictures came out.
Yep, I’m the second Antelope Canyon poster today alone. The weather has been excellent this week, and lots of folks are on holiday out here, so I’m not surprised more than one Redditor has visited recently.
But I don’t see much r/EarthPorn firsthand, and it’s pretty there, so I wanted to share.

I feel honoured
and if you cannot go outside making pictures, and the processing is done, Reddit is a nice place to dwell on
I just like to do more then only posting....

I went on this tour and it’s literally a photography tour to recreate Peter Liks famous pictures.
Everybody ends up with pictures like this. I’ve got a bunch too.

I’ve been twice in the last year (brought 2 different friends) and the tour guides were awful. Nice, but awful. They barely knew anything about it, and 100% made up most of it. One tour guide said a certain rock formation was called one name, the other said it was called another name. No consistency.

Trying my hardest to squint the depth out now

This picture is cool, almost trippy. Maybe it's that the focus is on the snow, but it looks incredibly flat, like there's little to no depth. It feels like a painting. It's a lovely scene.

It shows from your images you posted here on reddit. I gave a glance on your profile and there are a lot of good images there, gotta have a better look on each of them :D
I only recently practising more photography since picking up my first dedicated camera about 4 years ago. Before that, I shoot with my phone without any real intent of indulging more into photography. Now it becomes my kind of meditation, such as when I wander the road for street photography.
Oh, and btw, you're the first one I follow here ;D

I'm photographing since I was 13, and that was long ago
but being a pro, I don't think so
But there a lot here being worse...

Gorgeous shot. I’m closing my eyes and am there the breeze blowing through my hair, listening to the seagulls and the ocean.

That's too kind of you. Thank you.
Honestly I almost deleted this image as it was originally heavily overcast. But then I thought I might be able to 'save' it with my limited editing skill in LR, and this is the result. I hope it turns out alright for you guys here ;D

That is a beautiful picture of a place I have no desire to be. Banff is amazing, but I heckin' hate the cold. Thanks for sharing this with me virtually, so I can enjoy it here in front of my fire!

I mean, the one I tried by stacking several shots for greater long exposure, it turned out pretty underwhelming, the water flow became too soft. This one I posted is much better, preserving much details of the flow.
To be clear, I'm nowhere a pro. I'm just a newbie who's still have much to learn ;D I haven't posted much of my minimalism here on reddit, but I do posted a few here, you can check my profile. I mostly posted them on my IG minima_alistic in case you want to check them out. Would love to know what you think about them.

Images from this place will always be low effort content to me. I don't enjoy seeing them and I think it's corny to just go to a tourist spot and take photos and say it's Earth porn
