Thanks! I visited as part of a private expedition that I was so lucky to be invited to join. The photo was taken some time ago, but I've been learning how to use Lightroom (still no expert!), and so I'm going back to clean up my photos (correct white balance and exposure) and sharing some as I go through them.

It's not too tough, depending on when you go. If it's a long weekend it'll probably be pretty busy.

If you see a bunch of cars parked by the side of the road, there's probably an animal. If you can't see it, don't get out to go look. A lot of people get too comfortable with the animals that are used to cars stopping next to them because they mostly just ignore you, but they're wild and any one of them could be in a bad mood and murder you so I don't recommend getting close. Even the bighorn sheep get a little fiesty now and then and you do not want one of them to smash you with their head

Bring bear spray or buy some there. You probably won't need it, but if you do, it might be the difference between having a cool story and being mauled to death. Especially if you're getting away from the crowded spots

Also check out horseshoe lake! Even if you're not keen on jumping from a cliff into really cold water, it's a beautiful little spot
