The 6 mile loop trail through Hosmer's Grove is awesome, you probably already have that on your list of course. Snorkeling/diving with the Sea Turtles in Turtle Town was incredible as well. So many turtles, sooo close, I kept having to swim away from them to stay in compliance with federal endangered species laws. If you want to go to the Black Beach, make a reservation in advance, there are no same day reservations. It's worth it to rent a car for Road to Hana rather than a tour bus. Check out The Paia Fish Market for great fresh fish at decent prices. There is an app I highly recommend called Gypsy Guide that gives you a ton of info for self guided touring.
