I was here a few summers ago, and yes, this lake really is this color. It’s absolutely stunning, and in my mind, a hidden gem of the world. There’s a path you can walk around (most?) of the lake I THINK (my mom and I went around part of it, but had already been trekking for a number of days)- and it’s just as cold as it looks to swim in, but loads of fun!

Banff is the prettiest place on earth. Less crowds in Jasper or Waterton though, which are both pretty close. But there's a reason Banff has the most visitors.

It was the south fork trail! About 21 miles total. Highly recommend! The views are just incredible
