Went there on our honeymoon 2 years ago. Drove up for sunset, was an amazing experience driving through the blanket of clouds and seeing the sky open up. Then standing there as the sun set was one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen

Can't they afford a few trees or grasslands? How much would that really cost them?

There are hundreds of places like this in BC, just pick one.
Often, “all” that is involved is driving for hours and then hiking for hours.

Same thing happened to me last year going up to the Mt St Helens visitor center. Couldn’t see a thing cause we were in a cloud the whole time.

The first time I went it was exactly that, just covered in the thickest fog, could hardly see the road going up, definitely grateful it wasn’t like that this time.

13 hour drive from Vancouver BC. It's in the middle of nowhere basically :)

Ah- Aurora Borealis!? At this time of year, at this time of day, in this part of the country, localized entirely within your kitchen!?
