Would highly recommend my home is on the ring. There’s an old railway that they are converting to a greenway cycle track, think it should be completed in 2024. Look up “South Kerry Greenway” it’s on the ring. Views are truly spectacular!

My home county on Reddit, love to see it! Worked in Killarney national park for a few months, Kerry truly is “The Kingdom”.

We climbed a glacier up Mt Shasta in northern California in 1975 that had large rocks set on spires of ice, like this. The clouds became a thick fog with 20 foot visibility. We could hear spires snap and rocks roll just beyond our sight. It was frightening, yet magical at the same time.

Looks pretty murky (the water). Is this in an urban setting, or in a remote location?
