I believe that's the 'island' that I hiked on back in 2013. Is it called catedral or something close to that?

I wanted to do some geocaching on that trip and there were 2 hides in the park at the time. One at an overlook to the east of this spot and one here, both off trail, which we were warned not to do, but I had hiking poles and used them to scare off any poisonous critters. It was a long, hot hike and I didn't bring enough water, only 2 water bottles worth. I believe that I had heatstroke by the time I got back to the hotel. Fun times.

I loved Costa Rica so much that I'm considering retiring there. Super nice people. Pura vida!

When it snows in southern Utah, you head straight to Zion!

Waited 1 hour in the cold, wet from the snow on the brush I had to walk through, to get the right lighting for this shot. Used a canon 6d sigma 24-70 2.8 24mm f7.1 1/60 s ISO 200

Our great state gets to much love, you people keep posting on here and everyone is going to move here and make it more expensive than it already is. Rent will go up and make it harder for people that already live here.

California is beautiful, go there and take pictures, stay out of my state you trespassers! *shakes fist furiously

We rented a villa near here with 12 other friends.

We spent a day on that beach you see. We were in our 30’s and 20’s and we literally played like kids. I’m here was nothing else to do so we just played in waves and lay on sand for a day. I’m 50 now and have 4 kids and a responsible job. It is still my most carefree memory.

The beach in this picture, Manuel Antonio, is one of the most "touristy" beaches in CR and I visited during peak season and it looked just as beautiful in person. It's not perfect by no means but the beaches are as advertised.

Unfortunately, SE Asia and In particular Indonesia beaches have a truly shocking amount of litter.
