Fair enough. I rembered seeing the pic before so assumed it was someone reposting for farming. I guess I was only half right and it was his own photo, but it was a repost. But again, fair enough

You have to go! It's stunning.

I used to live there, one night I drove up to the entrance of the arch and woke up to snowfall after falling asleep on top of my van.
You're lucky you got there before anyone else, usually it's packed full of photographers and tourists.

That's not applause, that slapping sound is everyone fighting a losing battle vs sandflies.

Oh yeah, downvote me for asking where the place is! Give it to me! I clearly should know all the funny abbreviations people use around here, especially when they forget to add the county π€·π»ββοΈ

Only takes a couple seconds to do a reverse image search to see it's an original image. Sad to see that someone posting an image their proud of has to get shit on because it's 'posted daily'.
It's not a rule of the sub that if someone posts an image, it has to be of a location no one's posted before, nor does the OP seem to be attempting to 'farm karma'; it's probably a safe bet that most people on this sub don't really care about karma, as is the case here with OP.
>Someone should post a picture of what it's actually like visiting this place
If you're implying what it seems, it's not really the goal of the sub either. The goal is to share images of beautiful places on earth, not the hell it takes to capture them.
Just seems... a bit harsh for someone just sharing their work. :(

Thank you!
No idea why but I'd always avoided going up to the Lakes in winter for fear of it being dreary and dead. Kicking myself now for not going sooner!
