My GoPro fell into that lake last September and I found the water so refreshing when I went to fetch it.

The Smith River is one of the most beautiful rivers I've ever seen. It's this beautiful turquoise blue because of the green rock found in the area. It's also one of the cleanest rivers in the country.

Agreed. I live semi nearby and visit every year. Seen much worse mosquitos in the south/southeast, and even closer to the PNW

Not yet but we're planning on going soon. We have friends that moved to Brookings when we moved to CA and we're gonna see the Smith and Klamath when we go visit them. One of them works at Jedediah Smith. I hear they're beautiful and awesome spots for wildlife
