The beauty but also the roughness represented in a single image. Stunning.

Lovely photo.
I'm amazed it's not frozen over this time of year.

What a cool looking mountain. Always a personal highlight when I'm driving through this valley. Have you ever been up there? If yes, how was it difficulty-wise?
Great picture!

Incredible, really great backstory from your perspective. This is now my phone lockscreen and I only change it once every year or so

Thank you so much!! It was a great moment. And lucky. The day was like full on blue skies, no mist, Harsh light, but in landscape photography, conditions can change so quickly. The mist rolled in and lo n behold.

That's absolutely breathtaking, what a beautiful photo I really like it and it's so refreshing to look at instead of usual lakes and fields which are also great but don't capture the intensity and power of the himalayas. Really nice 👌

A rare example of an r/earthporn photo that needs a human being in it in order for the photo to make any sense. You can't understand how huge these trees are unless you can compare them to something like a person or a bicycle in the photo.

I will always vehemently defend Washington as the prettiest state in the US for those who love pines and mountains and rivers and lakes and deserts and rock faces and gorges and forests and not being California
