Be nice. He may be American and geographically-challenged.

I'm going in June too and going to make a note of these. We're also looking to do some via ferrata too!

Believe the hype. It's breathtaking. And if you like hiking, the trails are world-class.

I've stayed twice in the Dolomites, and many other places in the world too. It's the only spot where both I and Mrs. 1LW have considered making a semi-regular (like, once-a-year) destination. The scenery, the hiking trails, the unpretentious locals, the hearty food & wines... all 100% top-tier. (If they could only fix the peak-season traffic in the Val Gardena.)
Anyway, beautiful shot. I'm ready to go back.

It’s amazing. I also stayed a couple nights in Riva del Garda while I was in the area and I’ll never forget that place

I always thought that the magical quality of light in Italy was a fairy tale cooked up by renaissance artists to justify travel. Then I actually went there and was astonished to see IRL views I was familiar with from European Master painters. Thought it was glamorized/phony in the paintings. Nope! Italy is truly magical.

Thank you. It was actually digital but I shoot both and often try and emulate film qualities in my digital work so i'm glad you like it

Was this shot on film? I looks vaguely analog.
It's looks like a painting in parts. Beautiful.
