Thank you! I definitely thought about when looking through all my photos of the trip that I wanted to post something different than the famous landmarks of Sedona and something that had a better memory attached.

My wife and I hiked to the top plateau of Chimney rock in Sedona just as the moon was coming over the horizon and the sun was setting behind us and while walking up I noticed this beautifully framed view and took this shot with my Pixel 6. The colors of the red rocks combined with the yellow of the moon made for some spectacular colors and an awesome hike.

I'm a local and pretty experienced being on glaciers. This arch is right at the edge of one so it's a pretty easy hike with a headlamp/flashlight.

They want to reduce the traffic. The roads there are all very narrow one lane roads, and there are a lot of farmers who actually work there, so tourist cars are just a problem up there.
You can still get up by e.g. cable car
