$60 is a bargain! Last time I checked in holiday season it was almost $100. But hey, they also make the exact settings on your camera such that you will make the pictures like the one posted. IRL it still looks nice, but different let’s say.

Here in the New Braunfels area, it has been a very good year. There are large patches in our front and side yard and big displays all over NB and Comal/Hays county. Some rain today and cooler weather next week should help them last.

Fun fact I remember from Socotra is that it's the only place (AFAIK) where Punica Protopunica can currently be found. Which is the ancestor of Punica Granatum (pomegranate tree).

I'm from AZ. Once went up here to check it out. Saw all the tour busses dropping people off and noped out of there real quick. Opted instead for a free view of Horseshoe Bend and some time at Lake Powell.

Yeah pretty much😅 Back in 1497 England’s king references John Cabot land discovery as “New Found Launde”. There’s quite a lot of history involved of course lol.

It’s owned by the natives, I think the $60 is fair enough after everything, don’t you??

Gorgeous but too many tourists. There are plenty of other beautiful quieter lakes out there but it’s still a fantastic view no doubt.
