Amazing. I've wanted to visit this area so badly since first seeing photos of it a few years back.

Schlucht is basically canyon/gorge/ravine. I think Maisinger is just a place name so probably not a direct translation.
KingZarkon t1_jcz4i8e wrote
Out of curiosity, what does that translate to?

Love the long exposures like this bc of how all that smooth water looks compared to the super sharpness of everything else

Siii, de acuerdo! Los picos son tan hermosos como enormes! 😃

Never thought I would see a landscape from home here! Is that the Cantabrian or Asturian side?
Amazing work :)

I didn't see any big cities up there. There are some towns, but I don't believe the population is over 3k if that. From what I've seen, most of it is agricultural. We've bought some hogs from farmers up that way. I've seen a lot of dairy farms along the way.

It's been a below-average season overall, but we just got a spring dump. TSV got 21" and down lower we got 8-10" and another couple over the next few days. Below ~8000 it's melting pretty quickly, but above 8k there is still decent snowpack - had to stick to the roads around US Hill as it was just too deep for the dog.
