Yes, especially in northern Canada, but sometimes you can get a peek even in central or southern Canada (though not nearly as bright or even easy to see as in the northern parts).

One of the tallest mountains in the Canadian Rockies (9th tallest - 3543m). This shot was taken during a fall sunset from Saddle Mountain, a relatively easy 8km round trip hike from Lake Louise.
