Would love to see this photo with correct white balance!

When was this taken? I was there just a few weeks ago and it looks like the exact same leaves, just in yellow.

What a beast! Always blows my mind seeing Temple, especially from this side, that it can be summited by scrambling with no gear.

I went there in January. The road to Hana is something else but then you got this road which was even in worse shape.
Worth the drive though.

ah I haven't been to Maui for many years. Cheers hope you enjoyed your time! at the south of the Big Island there is a black sand beach that is specifically designated as a watching spot for Hawaiian green turtles. Looks basically just like this. That sand is SLIPPERY and also terrible to wear sandals in because it gets under your feet and it hurts

Those are two very specific locations. I'm genunely curious why you thought they are only visible in those two places?

This was a couple of weeks ago. It's a beach in Maui in Waiʻānapanapa State Park which is one of the stops in Road to Hana. Did not see any turtles there.

Churchill is actually right on the prime aurora "line". They have something like 250 nights a year with auroras.

Those are healthy looking trees for Churchill. :-)

You are correct. Been a while, and misplaced it in my head. Should read Sol Duc Falls. Olympic National Park, Washington.

While this is a lovely waterfall in Olympic National Park, it is not in the Hoh Rainforest, which is located south of The Sol Duc River valley, and is about a two hour drive away.
Edit: Hoh
