The view is actually quite nice

I was a young teenager when the park ranger explained to me that the early explorers were horny.

This was taken last year. Decently crowded in the morning before sunrise, with people not really giving much care to the others that were also there. Unfortunate

How was the crowd this year? Last time I was at Oxbow bend there was a few folks who wandered down to the water which got into the foreground shots of us who where there for more than an hour waiting for good light.

I went around September last year, the road up to Dynjandi is dirt and on a steep ledge at times, but nothing unmanageable if you take it slow.

Something about mountains and passes, if they are a persons name people seem to default to the possessive form

Literally the worst place for a party.

Beautiful photo but... Aren't those birch trees all around it (The tall, slender, white ones missing their leaves)? And I'm no tree expert, but I am not even sure that tree with the brightly coloured leaves is a birch?
