YES! I did Echo Lake to Lake Aloha a couple summers ago and it was magical. Was kicking myself during the whole hike back for not getting an overnight pass and spending the night out there.

It ran over the access road to the Summit Trail about 2 hours ago so that trail is toast. Sadly… it was a killer hike

How hauntingly beautiful, I did a 6 mile hike on one of the Mauna Loa trail areas a few years ago, I wonder how bad it has gotten.
