Why the significant compression? It’s incredibly jarring. Baker isn’t even close to that conical.

I used a Sony a7iii with a Sigma DC DN 16mm lens, and took six long exposures in succession, and then stacked them in Sequator (free software), with a light-pollution reduction. But any camera with a manual mode that allows you to adjust ISO and shutter speed could work. And a cheap tripod works just fine... What equipment do you have?

Impressive. I mean really. Those streams are full of trees, boulders and steep walls. No easy walking. The bigger glacial rivers at least give you some shoreline and sandbars.

Yes, my wife and I where nervous as hell. Just before entering the trail a local reminded us to mind the brown bears. LOL. We had the loudest conversation of our life on this hiking loop.
